Stagecoach cancel several Hull buses tonight due to ‘ongoing incidents with youths’

Bus operator Stagecoach says it is cancelling its services in an area of Hull due to “ongoing incidents with youths.” The transport firm made the sudden announcement at 4.39pm on Wednesday. In a tweet it said services 12 and 12A will not be serving Noddle Hill Way “for the next couple of hours”. For more traffic and travel news click here. Diversions are now in place out of Sutton Village, Wawne Road, Barnstaple Road in both directions. Stagecoach has apologised to its customers for the inconvenience caused. “Due to ongoing incidents with youths in the area. Service 12/12A's will not be serving Noddle Hill Way for the next couple of hours. The Diversion is out of Sutton Village, Wawne Road, Barnstaple Road in both direction we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.” North Point Shopping Centre in Bransholme. Last month Hull Live reported that buses to a Bransholme shopping centre were suspended because of safety fears over anti-social behaviour there, police said at the time. Stagecoach buses temporarily stopped services going past North Point over hooligans who were causing a nuisance, although police failed to elaborate on what exactly they were doing.
