The bus operator said that these nominations underscore their ‘outstanding contribution to the bus industry and the talent within its team.’ The UK Bus Awards, spanning an impressive 25-year history, are one of the most important awards schemes in the bus industry. This year’s ceremony will be held at Troxy in London in November. Stagecoach East Midlands and its team have been named as finalists in a number of categories. These are: Manager of the Year: Jack Wright, Operations Manager at Hull. Manager of the Year: Chris Kelk, Operations Manager at Grimsby. Partnership for Excellence category, The Peter Huntley Memorial Award: The Hull Bus Alliance partnership. Partnership for Excellence category, The Peter Huntley Memorial Award: The West Notts College partnership. Bus and the Community: Stagecoach East Midlands’ work with the Ask for Angel Street scheme.
