Travellers who are wanting to holiday closer to home but still have a taste of luxury can get a number of breaks away for less than £100. Coronavirus restrictions are beginning to ease in the UK, with almost all legal restrictions on social contact being removed from July 19. For foreign travel, UK holidaymakers who have been fully vaccinated can go to, and return from, amber list countries without having to quarantine. However those who have yet not received the double vaccination dose, or feel travelling abroad is just not for them at the moment, have plenty of other options here in the UK. Research from Luxuryhotel.com has revealed the UK’s cheapest and most expensive cities for a luxury 5* stay. The average price of a 5* hotel in the UK will set you back £168.44, which is roughly the same as the global average of £169. But there are stays you can get for even cheaper. Price: A stay in the central England city is priced at £58 on average for one night at a five-star hotel. Where to stay: Depending on dates, you can stay at the five star Holcombe House for just £49 for one night via Booking.com. Situated in Wolverhampton, near Wolverhampton Magistrates, City of Wolverhampton College and Wolverhampton Crown Court, Holcombe House features free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden. Each unit features a fully equipped kitchenette with a dishwasher, a seating area, a flat-screen TV, a washing machine, and a private bathroom with shower and a hairdryer.
