Drivers were reporting that they were stuck in traffic in The Avenues, Beverley Road and Holderness Road. Buses reported delays of up to an hour across the network, with all Stagecoach east Hull, Bransholme and Kingswood services seeing delays of more than 45 minutes. The main issues with traffic came from four-way temporary traffic lights being in place causing heavy traffic in Holderness Road in both directions around Dansom Lane South. This coupled with the closure of Sculcoates Bridge on Chapman Street with very slow traffic in Cleveland Street at Chapman Street.
