There is very slow-moving traffic on the M62 Ouse Bridge Eastbound this evening, between Goole and Howden, due to lane closures. Two lanes are currently closed for bridge inspection works, reducing the M62 to one lane. This is the same case as last night, when miles of congestion built up, due to emergency repairs on Ouse Bridge needing to be done. As well as this, an accident occurred last night at round 7pm, when a lorry collided with the central reservation barrier and a car left the road and entered a ditch. Thankfully nobody was injured, and the road was cleared at 11.10pm. National Highways Yorkshire tweeted that the lane closures are expected to remain in place until at least the middle of next week. There has been no confirmation as of yet as to when the works on the Ouse Bridge will be completed.
