Traffic delays after Myton Bridge was ‘stuck open’
Myton Swing Bridge was reportedly 'stuck open' this afternoon as numerous residents reported traffic in the nearby area. According to traffic reporting service, Inrix: “A63 Myton Swing Bridge in both directions closed due to technical problems between Market Place and A1165 Great Union Street.” May drivers have reported a build up of traffic in the area, with some saying there is “no movement at all”. Engineers have now fixed the problem with the bridge, but there are still traffic delays in the area.
