Traffic light upgrade work planned for busy west Hull junction
The traffic lights at a major west Hull junction are set to be upgraded to “help improve traffic flow” and safety. Calvert Lane is already set to be closed from Saturday, February 15 until Sunday, February 23 while Northern Gas Networks (NGN) carry out gas pipe upgrade work as previously announced so Hull City Council says it will complete the traffic signal improvements at the same time to minimise disruption. The work will take place at the junction with Anlaby Road under temporary signals and will start on Monday, February 17 and is set to be complete by Friday, February 21.
