A pedestrian has sadly died following a fatal crash on a major Hull road at the weekend. Emergency services were called to the Anlaby Road junction with Gladstone Street following reports that a pedestrian had been hit by a car. The incident, which happened at around 5.50pm on Saturday evening, meant the road was closed for a time while the police and ambulance service responded. The male pedestrian was taken to hospital for treatment on life-threatening injuries, but despite the efforts of medical staff, he sadly died. Humberside Police has since launched an appeal for information.
