Travel delays are “likely” as the final stage of a scheme to improve roads and paths in Bridlington gets underway. Around £1.6m is being invested by East Riding of Yorkshire Council to resurface several roads in the town in a project that began in September and has seen work completed on Scarborough Road roundabout, Cliff Road in Sewerby, Sandsacre Road, Clarence Road, Albert Street, St Stephen Road, St Thomas Road, St Andrew Road, and Travis Road, with the resurfacing of North Road to begin soon after Northern PowerGrid’s cable replacement.
