A crash on a busy route through East Yorkshire has brought traffic to a standstill during the Friday rush hour. Cars are backing up along in Hook after a two-car collision on Church Lane. Drivers often use the route to avoid other busy routes between the M62 and Goole. Humberside Police are at the scene and have blocked Church Lane to traffic in a bid to keep congestion to a minimum. One witness at the scene said: “Two cars collided by the S-bend near the cemetery going into Hook. A two-car collision has forced the closure “It is closed.
