Eagle-eyed social media users have spotted an embarrassing error on an East Yorkshire bus company's social media page. After changing their cover photo to a seasonal image of a bus surrounded by Autumnal leaves, Facebook users have pointed out the resemblance of some of the leaves on the East Yorkshire Buses page to something slightly less family friendly. Outlines of leaves looking similar to cannabis plants were spotted on the bus service's Facebook cover photo, which has since been taken down. Eleanor Hockney was nearly left stranded after the driver wouldn't open the doors to let on on Sunday evening after she attended a bonfire party with friends. The teenager was able to get home safely when a police officer intervened and offered to give her a lift instead. East Yorkshire Motoring Service (EYMS) has since apologised over the incident, admitting it “fell short”. A spokeswoman said: “Our role as a bus operator is to take people where they want to go, and we recognise the paramount importance of safety for women late at night.
