Updates as Freetown Way completely blocked by crash

A crashed car is causing delays on a major city centre road. The crash, which involves a Fiat Punto, happened on Freetown Way at around 9.30pm on Monday evening. The vehicle has come to rest on the pavement next to the dual carriageway, opposite to the junction of George Street. Witnesses say it looks “serious”. An ambulance and vehicle recovery crews are on the scene following the crash. Humberside Police officers are also at the scene. We will bring you all the latest updates in our designated blog below.
