Motorists driving along Castle Street will now travel under Hull’s stunning new footbridge, which was installed on Saturday night. The bridge spans the width of the busy part of the A63, connecting the city centre with Hull Marina, and is set to open to the public in summer 2020. The road was closed in both directions between Mytongate and Roger Millward Way from 8pm on Friday, and was scheduled to reopen at 6am on Monday. However, the work took much less time than planned, and the road was reopened just after 2pm on Sunday, easing traffic congestion and giving the public the chance to get a closer look at the city’s newest piece of infrastructu
