Roadworks lasting seven weeks are likely to cause delays for drivers at a busy Beverley Road junction. A programme of improvements will begin at the Queens Road/Sculcoates Lane junction next week. It will mark the final phase of a £1.1m project to improve pedestrian and cycling facilities along Beverley Road. The works, which will take place in four phases, with the intention of minimising disruption, will involve some lane closures, temporary traffic signals and modified traffic flows. The first phase will begin on Tuesday (August 1).
