Yorkshire Water have issued an update on the closure of Rawling Way in west Hull, after the road was heavily damaged by a burst water main on Tuesday. Rawling Way is a key link between the A63 and Anlaby Road, but a closure has been in place since Tuesday at the junction with Hessle Road. Yorkshire Water said the burst pipe had caused “significant damage to the underlying concrete road structure”. Initially, it was feared that the repairs could take up to two weeks to complete. However, Yorkshire Water has now revised that estimate.
