Major roadworks in Hull will continue over the summer holiday period, with the council hoping to minimise travel disruption in the city. A total of 64,096 square meters of road space will be resurfaced. This will result in some lane closures, road closures and night working. Warning signs will be in place and residents in the affected areas will be informed with letter drops. Councillor Kirk said: “We’re also encouraging motorists to have their say on traffic and transport issues as part of our latest survey.” The survey can be accessed via the Hull City Council website.
