Traffic is at a standstill in Willerby after a person was “knocked down” at a pedestrian crossing. The incident happened around 10am on Wednesday morning near the roundabout between Beverley Road and Kingston Road. Two police and an ambulance are currently on the scene. An adult has been seen to be treated by paramedics at the pedestrian crossing, often used by children at Wolfreton School. One witness said: “There is one person being treated by paramedics by the roadside on a stretcher.
