Woman cut from car in three vehicle crash near Tesco Express in Anlaby Road
A woman had to be cut from a car following a crash involving three vehicles which closed Anlaby Road for a number of hours. Emergency services were called to the crash, involving two cars and a pushbike, which happened just before 7pm on Monday. An eyewitness reported that an Audi A4 and a Citreon were involved in the crash, which took place close to the Tesco Express store in Anlaby Road. Hull Live understands the woman was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary. Her injuries are not known. The road remained closed until 9pm. Humberside Fire and Rescue Service said the doors of the vehicle had to be removed to get access to the patient, who was then put on a spinal board and taken to hospital. Humberside Police have issued an appeal for anyone who saw the crash to contact them. A force spokeswoman said: “We were called to a road traffic collision on Anlaby Road, Hull, at 6:50pm on Monday in which two vehicles and a pushbike were in collision. “The road was closed shortly after and reopened just after 9:00pm.
