Woman in hospital after police and paramedics descend on Drypool Bridge

A woman was taken to hospital on Monday afternoon after an incident at Drypool Bridge. A Yorkshire Ambulance Service spokeswoman confirmed that a patient was taken to hospital after a range of emergency service vehicles descended on the bridge at around 2pm. Vehicles from the Coastguard, a rapid response car, an ambulance and two police cars were in attendance. Read more news involving Humberside Police by clicking here. Following the incident, a Humberside Police spokeswoman told Hull Live: “Officers were in attendance to an incident on Drypool Bridge shortly before 2.20pm this afternoon. This has now been resolved safely.” The emergency response was described as “police-led” by a Humber Coastguard spokesman.
