A woman has been taken to hospital after a crash that closed an East Yorkshire road for hours. The B1362 Hedon Road was closed off by police at around 1pm on Monday afternoon (June 7) after a crash between two vehicles. Police currently remain at the scene diverting traffic away from the road that links both Hedon and Burstwick. Two fire engines were also reportedly spotted at the scene with witnesses saying there was “loads of police”. One person wrote on Hull Live’s Traffic and Travel page: “Something bad has happened outside Lincs Aquatics on the road from Hedon to Burstwick. The road’s blocked by two fire engines and loads of police.” Motorists have been advised to avoid the area as police continue to carry out investigations. Click here for live updates from the scene.
