A woman was taken to hospital after a crash in Spring Bank West, Hull. Traffic was severely delayed after police closed the westbound carriageway of the road on Thursday evening. Traffic was diverted down Walton Street and Spring Bank West remained closed for almost two hours. One witness said she was on a bus when it was diverted. She said: “It had already happened by the time we saw it we were on the number 54 and had to detour down Walton street to go back up Albert Avenue.
