Woman taken to hospital after crash on busy Hull road

A woman has been taken to hospital following a crash on a busy hull junction. The crash, which caused traffic disruption following a single car collision involving blue Citroen Picasso and a fence, happened close to the busy junction of Cottingham Road and Chanterlands Avenue. The vehicle was taped off by Humberside Police and caused “traffic disruption” as officers awaited recovery of the vehicle. The road remained open, but vehicles were slowing down in the area as emergency service crews attended the scene. A woman was later taken to Hull Royal Infirmary following the collision at 11.25am on Wednesday. She had minor injuries to her abdomen as ambulance crews attended to her at the scene, according to Humberside Police.
