A pedestrian who died in a collision on the A63 was hit by a lorry, police have said. As reported, the woman died on a stretch of the road in Hessle on Friday evening. Both carriageways were closed for 21 hours for investigative work. Humberside Police said the woman was 56 years old and sadly died at the scene from her injuries. Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have dashcam footage, to come forward.
