Yorkshire Water issue update on when Beverley Road will reopen…
Yorkshire Water has issued an update explaining when Beverley Road will reopen following its closure due to a burst water main earlier this week. Three water pipes burst on major travel routes in Hull on Monday night (June 26), leading to road closures on Rawling Way, Hedon Road, Beverley Road, and Ellerburn Avenue. Rawling Way temporarily reopened as of Thursday (June 29), but it will need to close again for permanent repairs to be made at another time. Today (Friday, June 30), Yorkshire Water announced that Beverley Road, which has been closed northbound at the junction with Endike Lane, will be reopened later today, although an exact time has not been given. Unfortunately, Yorkshire Water has explained that Ellerburn Avenue will take “a little bit longer” to reopen but, again, an exact date or time has yet to be given.
