Two cyclists were injured after being struck by a van near the University of Hull, police confirmed today. It was reported a van hit two cyclists in Cottingham Road, near the University, at 1.40pm yesterday (Tuesday). Witnesses described seeing a woman lain in the road and feared she had been severely injured in the crash.
A man was arrested after a car crashed into a telegraph pole in east Hull this morning. Photographs taken from the scene in Portobello Street, near Marfleet Lane, appear to show workmen installing a new telegraph pole. Humberside Police said a man was arrested at the scene shortly after the crash at 12:45am this morning.
