Tackling congestion in Hull is a “top priority” for the council after figures showed which roads in the city have the longest delays. Hull City Council Transport Portfolio Holder Cllr Mark Ieronimo said the completion of works on Beverley Road and reverting bus lanes back to peak-time only enforcement were reducing congestion. He added the council was also working closely with National Highways to make sure improvements to the A63 are successful. It comes as analysis of Department for Transport figures showed the six Hull roads with the highest average delay times.
