Police are investigating after a 12-year-old boy was knocked off his bike by a car, the driver of which then fled the scene. At around 8am on Thursday, June 13, a collision took place on Auckland Avenue when a car is reported to have collided with a boy on a bike. The driver failed to stop, and fled the scene. The boy fell from his bike and suffered minor injuries as a result.
