Please avoid the area if possible.” Queues were reportedly going back several miles on the A15 in North Lincolnshire as traffic was held at a standstill. A lane reopened later in the morning but heavy traffic continued. Both lanes were confirmed to be fully open just after 1pm. A Humber Bridge spokesperson said: “The bridge is now fully open following the collision this morning. However, we’re aware that traffic management has been installed at the A164/A15/ Wingfield Roundabout to carry out works on the adjacent Bridgehead site and this has resulted in a reduction in running lanes, causing traffic delays. The traffic management company has advised that the restriction may remain in place for the next three days. “Whilst we have no control over this restriction, we recognise that it is currently impacting users travelling northbound and this will continue, especially during peak times. We would therefore advise all users of the bridge to allow more time for their journeys.
