Part of the M62 in East Yorkshire closed following crash
Part of the M62 in East Yorkshire is closed both ways following a crash. Shortly before 3.30pm, Humberside Police reported they had been called to an incident at around 2.50pm on the motorway in the area of junction 35 where it meets the M18. The road was then closed in both directions between junction 35 and junction 36 for Goole “to allow emergency services to work safely. Drivers “are asked to avoid the area at this time”. Traffic reporting service Inrix says the entry slip roads in this area are also closed. Tailbacks are reported in both directions on the M62 and on the northbound M18 approaching junction 35. Further details are not available at this time.
