Humberside Police attended following the incident this morning on the eastbound carriageway. Reports on Hull Traffic and Travel Facebook page suggested a single vehicle collision with a central reservation. Boothferry Road eastbound was “extremely slow” according to one witness. She said: “All I could see was traffic queueing. I went out but could not see anything. The road block must have been nearer to town, but the traffic was hardly moving.” The AA Traffic News showed tailbacks beyond North Ferriby and northbound on the A164. A spokesperson for Humberside Police said: “Officers were in attendance on the A63 eastbound near Hessle following reports of a single-vehicle road traffic collision at around 10.55am this morning (Saturday, 8 November). “One person was taken to hospital to be checked over for injuries.” Did you know you can get all the latest traffic and travel updates sent straight to your inbox?
