Hull Daily Mail Icon News Hull & East Yorkshire News Traffic & Travel Need to know This week’s round-up of ongoing and upcoming roadworks including the Cottingham Road/Hall Road roundabout There will be road closures in some parts of the city (file photo)(Image: Reach) Key roadworks in Hull this week A63 Castle Street Scheme: Ongoing major infrastructure improvements between St James Street and Market Place. Expect continued lane and road closures until May 2026. Cottingham Road/Hall Road Roundabout: Major carriageway resurfacing begins February 2 and runs until February 13. Access to Hotham Road North and Cottingham Road (both sides) from the roundabout will be closed, with temporary signals managing traffic between Hall Road and Fairfax Avenue. Anlaby Road: Gas pipe replacement continues near the junction of Anlaby Road and Calvert Lane until February 10. A full eastbound road closure remains in place on this section. Humber Dock Street & Princes Dock Street: Closures until April 30, 2026, for public realm development works. High Street & Chapel Lane: Phased road closures are in place until February 13 for mains connections. Only one road will be closed at a time, and the site will be clear on weekends.
