There are long term roadworks ongoing in and around the city, but there are also shorter term ones planned. Here is your definitive list of all the ongoing and upcoming roadworks in the area, as announced by Hull City Council. A63 improvement scheme: Major A63 Improvement scheme – full infrastructure change. Lane and road closures until completion of scheme. Until Spring 2026. Anlaby Road : Gas works from outside Hull Royal to the junction of Park Street / Icehouse Road. Bus lane closure only. Until July 25. Barnes Way: Completing gas, electric and water connection and supplies to plots 113 – 124. Multi-way signals in place. Until July 25. Beverley Road : Gas works.
