Incidents on Beverley Road and Princes Avenue causing traffic problems

Three incidents are contributing to delays in the Beverley Road and Princes Avenue area. According to traffic monitoring site Inrix, there have been two 'accidents' and a set of traffic lights is out. Traffic is described as 'slow'. The A1079 Beverley Road is partially blocked in both directions with slow traffic 'due to accident at the A1165 Clough Road (Haworth Arms traffic lights)”. This is compounded by 'slow traffic due to traffic light failure on A1079 Beverley Road in both directions at Sutton Road.' In addition, Princes Avenue is partially blocked in both directions due to an accident, between Spring Bank West to Queens Road. The Traffic Signals team are aware and are dealing with the outages as promptly as they can. “We advise all road users to take extra care and caution when approaching or using faulty signals, and allow extra travel time where necessary.” Share…
