The incident, which involved a bus and another vehicle, happened on Anlaby Road at about 4pm on Sunday. Humberside Police say a grey Volvo was turning onto Anlaby Road at the junction near Fountain Street when it was in a collision with a silver Peugeot moped that was travelling towards the city centre. The moped “then subsequently collided with a bus”. A police spokesperson said: “Emergency services attended and the rider of the moped, a 16-year-old boy, was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that are not thought to be life changing at this time. “The road was temporarily closed to allow emergency services to operate effectively.
