Hull City Council has directly appointed Mason Clark Associates, a Hull-based engineering consultancy, to progress the removal and replacement of the Priory Drive footbridge.
Preparatory works are underway on Freetown Way to get the site ready for a major investment that will start in early 2026.
Another of the Hull’s sporting greats has been recognised with the renaming of Poorhouse Lane to Phil Lowe Way in honour of Hull KR great Phil Lowe.
