Man sadly dies in early-morning crash on A1035 near Beverley

News Hull & East Yorkshire News Humberside Police A number of people were injured in the multi-vehicle incident in the Tickton area A man sadly died in an early-morning, multi-vehicle crash near Beverley. A number of other drivers were injured in the incident on the A1035 in the Tickton area shortly before 7am today (Tuesday, March 24), police have said. At around 6.50am, a silver Nissan Micra was heading westbound when it was involved in a collision with a blue DAF heavy-goods vehicle travelling the other way. The HGV is “then believed to have collided with a grey BMW 330e and a grey Volkswagen Polo”. The driver of the BMW, a 52-year-old man, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. The drivers of the other vehicles were taken to hospital for treatment to “serious injuries which are not believed to be life threatening”. The road between Swinemoor Lane roundabout and Eske Lane was closed for much of the day while emergency services investigated the incident.
