A section of Beverley Road was closed on Friday evening following the incident shortly after 7pm. Humberside Police have today issued a statement. A spokesperson said: “At approximately 7.05pm yesterday evening (Friday, 24 October), a police vehicle was involved in a collision with a pedestrian on Beverley Road in Hull near to the junction with May Street. “Road closures were put in place to allow emergency services to work safely.
