Princes Avenue crash ‘road closed and traffic chaos’ – RECAP

Princes Avenue was earlier closed in both directions due to a crash involving two cars. A witness, who described the traffic as “chaos”, took photographs of two police cars blocking the road and officers speaking to people at the scene. The two-car crash, at the junction with Westbourne Avenue, was understood to have happened at around 11:30am. The traffic reporting service Inrix previously stated: “Princes Avenue in both directions closed, slow traffic due to accident from Queens Road to Duesbery Street.” Hull Live has approached Humberside Police for comment. The road reopened at around 3pm today. Share 13:37 Sofie Jackson Stagecoach says buses are on diversion In a tweet at 12:26, Stagecoach East Midlands said: “Due to a RTC Princes Avenue is closed in both directions, will be diverting via Queens Rd and Beverley Rd. in both directions. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.” There are now reports the road may have since reopened.
