Tragedy as girl, 5, dies after being hit by lorry…
A five-year-old girl was tragically killed in a collision with a lorry in east Hull yesterday, Humberside Police have confirmed. The victim was riding a bicycle in Hopewell Road, near Oakfield School, at about 3.40pm when she was struck by an HGV. Humberside Police said her family are being treated by specially trained officers and thanked everyone who came to the child's aid yesterday afternoon. Flowers and teddy bears have been left in tribute at the scene.
