East Yorkshire road to close for three weeks during improvement…

Hull Daily Mail Icon News Hull & East Yorkshire News Traffic & Travel A stretch of the road near Little Weighton will be upgraded A rural East Yorkshire road is set to be closed for up to three weeks while an improvement scheme is carried out. A stretch of White Gap Lane, at High Hunsley, will be resurfaced during the £270,000 project. Work on the road, between Westoby Lane and Comberbale Hill, will begin on Tuesday, January 13. It is expected to take three weeks to complete and will include resurfacing and structural patching. The stretch will be closed to all traffic during this time. A diversion route is being put in place via Comberdale Hill and Westoby Lane. East Riding Of Yorkshire Council, which is carrying out the work with its own road maintenance team, says access to properties within the working area will be maintained.
