A63 Hull overnight closures announced for April and May

More closures on the A63 have been announced as the mammoth £355m Mytongate project moves towards another key milestone. Highways bosses say they are needed due to the “large machinery” being brought in for the scheme. A new split-level junction is being built in the mammoth project, with Castle Street passing beneath the Ferensway/Commercial Road axis. The new closures are in addition to those already announced for the A63 between Daltry Street and Roger Millward Way. National Highways says the additional closures will all be overnight and between 8pm and 6am the following day. Drivers are being urged to plan their journeys in advance and allow more time.
