Drypool Bridge in Hull closed to traffic ‘until further notice’…

A major Hull bridge has been closed to road traffic “until further notice” due to safety concerns. Following a routine inspection carried out earlier today (Wednesday, April 10), Drypool Bridge has been closed as “a precautionary measure”. Hull City Council says the closure will “allow for a further detailed investigation to be carried out” on Thursday. Though it is shut to road users, it will remain open to pedestrians and cyclists.
