Hull bus timetable changes and new routes announced by Stagecoach

From Easter Sunday there will be changes to Stagecoach bus timetables and new services in Hull, Cottingham, and Beverley. Stagecoach said the changes, effective from March 31, will improve the reliability, punctuality and accessibility of bus services. The timetables will introduce new service routes and frequencies in response to changes in travel patterns and bus priority measures in the Hull area. Matt Cranwell, Managing Director of Stagecoach East Midlands, said: “We believe that these significant service changes will greatly benefit our passengers in Hull. By increasing frequencies across some services, revising timings, and optimising routes, we aim to provide an enhanced travel experience for our customers. These changes represent our ongoing commitment to providing a high-quality travel experience for our passengers that meet the evolving needs of our community.” The new timetables will include the following changes: ● Service 1 and Service 2: Increased frequency to run up to every 15 minutes Monday to Saturday. Service 2 journeys (except between 2pm and 6pm Monday to Saturday) will travel into the City Centre via Carr Lane, Bond Street, Albion Street, and Brook Street to the Interchange. ● Service 1C: Replaced by New Services 21 and 61, see new services below. ● Service 3: Increased frequency during peak morning hours on weekdays and revised timings throughout the day to improve reliability. ● Service 3B: Replaced by New Service 18, see new services below. ● Service 4A: Journeys that extend to Mizzen Road have been withdrawn and replaced with Service 4 journeys, running as far as Orchard Park Tesco. ● Service
