The next round of A63 road closures starts tonight – with drivers in Hull and East Yorkshire told to plan journeys in advance. The road closures are to ensure that the next crucial step of the A63 Castle Street upgrades can be done safely and swiftly as the huge £355m project can advance. Drivers will be diverted via the A15, A164, A1079 and A1033. The following closures will be in place between Dalty Street and Roger Millward Way. Westbound – April 17 April 18 April 19 April 21 April 23 April 24 April 25 April 28 Eastbound – April 19 April 24 April 25 April 26 In addition to the Castle Street closures, Myton Swing Bridge will also have essential overnight works between Sunday 21 and Sunday 29 April. Both closures are due to take place westbound.
