There are long term roadworks ongoing in and around the city, but there are also shorter term ones planned. Here is your definitive list of all the ongoing and upcoming roadworks in the area, as announced by Hull City Council. A63 – St James Street to Market Place: Major A63 improvement scheme – full infrastructure change. Lane and road closures until completion of scheme, expected Spring 2026. Albert Avenue: Cable upgrade. Roseberry Street to Chatham Street. Multi-way signals in place. Until May 30. Anlaby Road: Gas works.
