Humberside Police were advising motorists to avoid Falklands Way in Barton upon Humber this morning. The force said that they were dealing with an incident, which was understood to be an overturned lorry. Taking to social media, a spokesperson for the police said at the time there could be a build up of traffic until lunch time. As a result, motorists were being advised to avoid the area where possible and take alternative routes. Meanwhile traffic reporting service, Inrix, said that the road is blocked in both directions. However, it did say that traffic was coping well. The road has reportedly been cleared.
