Many roadworks are starting in June that drivers ought to make note of in case their routes are affected. It is advised to allowed extra time for journeys if they are affected by the road closures, lane closures and temporary traffic signals in place. In its latest travel update, Hull City Council has announced that Drypool Bridge will be shut to traffic for up to four days in June for inspections ahead of repairs, although the footpaths will be open. Other key roads, such as the A63, are subject to overnight closures in June. All works are subject to change: A63 improvement scheme between St James Street to Market Place until May next year. Major A63 Improvement scheme – full infrastructure change by National Highways.
