Northern Gas Network has announced a huge 18-week upgrade project in Anlaby. The ageing metal pipework used in the village is being improved to ensure a safe and reliable gas supply to its customers – while ensuring that the network will be ready to transport alternative, greener fuels in the future.. The lengthy project has been carefully coordinated with the East Riding of Yorkshire Council and will begin on Monday, June 24 and is expected to be completed by October 28. To ensure that the work can be carried out efficiently and safely, traffic management has been implemented throughout the duration of the work.
