Ambulance damaged in crash near Hull Royal Infirmary

An ambulance was damaged in a collision in Anlaby Road, near Hull Royal Infirmary. It happened at the junction with Argyle Street and Rawling Way at around noon on Saturday. The ambulance and a white car suffered damage in the collision, but fortunately no one was trapped. Police and fire crews were called to the scene. Traffic was delayed as emergency services dealt with the incident.. Batteries were disconnected to make the vehicles safe. A witness who said they were at the traffic lights said the ambulance was travelling “slowly” through the junction with siren and lights on when the collision happened.
