Popular East Yorkshire route to close for two weeks as…

A worn-out road in East Yorkshire will see a five-figure investment to improve the popular route. The Weel Road in Tickton, near Beverley, will undergo a £140,000 upgrade by East Riding of Yorkshire Council to resurface the narrow road, which is an important route to the Weel Household Waste Recycling Site. The work is set to start on Monday, March 11 and will take two weeks to complete. The work will be carried out throughout the day from 9am until 3.30 pm, when a full closure will be in place.
